Aftek Motorcycles, New Indian Brand, Enters Nepal: Launches Three 170cc BS6 Bikes

Well, there’s a new motorcycle brand in town! If you had visited the last year’s NADA Auto Show 2018, there was a somewhat of a unique brand of motorcycle: AFTEK Motorcycles.

Basically, it is an Indian-made brand of motorcycles. It was stated to launch last year, but it was delayed for some reason. Nonetheless, the day has come! Aftek Bikes has officially launched in Nepal.

Moreover, Max Vision Pvt. Ltd. is the authorized distributor of Aftek Motorcycles in Nepal. Furthermore, the company will enter the two-wheeler market with three new Aftek models: Aftek Turbo, Aftek Knight Rider, and Aftek Scorpion.

Aftek Turbo 170

Turbo 170 is powered by a 170cc air-cooled engine with a counterbalancer. Moreover, it can generate a max power of 14.08HP at 8000rpm and max torque of 13.5Nm at 7500rpm. Likewise, it is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and a massive 20-liter fuel tank! Additionally, the top-speed is capped at 100kmph.

Talking about the suspension, the front suspension is telescopic forks and the rear with dual shock absorbers. Moreover, it comes with a single-channel ABS system. Unfortunately, the rear brake is a drum.

According to the Aftek representative, all the Aftek motorcycles are BS6 compliant, despite being a carburetor engine. Interestingly, these motorcycles can be upgraded to a BS6 compliant EFI engine if needed.
