For the price, AstaWolf Sleek sounds surprisingly good and boasts good battery life.
AstaWolf Sleek is small but packs a powerful punch. It has a very good sound quality and the battery life is commendable. This doesn’t have the lowest latency in AstaWolf’s lineup but that’s fine. It’s hard to find a better TWS than AstaWolf Sleek for the price.

AstaWolf Sleek Review
Design
The AstaWolf Sleek comes in a sleek oval case. The case is small which makes it easy to carry. It comes in three colors: Black, Blue, and, White. The case has a glossy finish topped off with UV coating. Overall, the case has a solid build quality and it comes with an IPX4 rating as well.
There’s a USB Type C port on the bottom and a single LED indicator. It lights up red when the case is charging and blinks blue when the earbud is charging.
The hinge feels solid and there’s a satisfying click when you close the case. The earbuds have a duo-tone finish. The outer part of the stem has a silver matte finish the rest has the same finish as the case. There’s an LED indicator on the earbuds too. It blinks red and blue in pairing mode and stops once it is paired with the device. Likewise, each earbud has a single mic for ENC.
The earbuds themselves are in-ear buds that are lightweight and comfortable to use. AstaWolf also provides additional ear-tips in the box along with a pouch and a charging cable.
Sound
For the price, AstaWolf Sleek’s 10mm driver produces a top-notch sound quality. Most of the earbuds have bass-heavy sound but this one feels balanced. The sound stage is decent and there’s a nice separation between the vocals and the instruments. The vocals and mids shine through with a warm sound signature. The bass is also quite nice because it is not overdone and the bass is tight even at 80% volume. The highs felt controlled and clarity was decent.
AsataWolf Sleek has been tuned for a balanced sound rather than bassy sound profile that we normally find in budget earbuds.
The sound isolation is quite good with the default ear tips but I switched to the largest ear tips for better fit and better passive isolation.
Interms of volume, Sleek is not the loudest earbud I have listened to at this price tag. But, it is more than enough.
Another thing that’s important for me when it comes to TWS is ear fatigue. Some earbuds are loud but the lack of sound definition and clarity makes it hard to listen to them for a long period. I was easily able to listen to the AstaWolf Sleek for more than an hour at 100% volume. So, AstaWolf Sleek is a good-sounding TWS for the price.
Latency & Mic Quality
I did notice slight latency when watching movies. With the gaming/movie mode turned on, there was a good improvement and latency was no longer an issue. AstaWolf claims 60ms of latency with the gaming/movie mode turned on.
For the price, the latency is more than good enough for casual users.
If you are a gamer, you might want to get something with 40ms latency like the Wolf Beast.
The Sleek comes with dual mic enc as each bud has a single mic. In my experience, the Wolf Sleek managed to transmit my voice clearly during phone calls. The receiver was able to listen to me clearly and vice versa.
Touch Controls
Like most TWS, AstaWolf Sleek comes with capacitive touch controls. The controls work well and the touch is very responsive. The controls and their respective functions are as below.
- Double Tap: Play/Pause
- Triple Tap: Forward (Right), Previous (Left)
- 4 Tap: Gaming Mode (Right), Voice Assistant (Left)
- Long press: Volume Down (Right), Volume UP (Left)
Connectivity and Battery
The sleek uses Bluetooth V5.3 for connection. The claimed range is 15m and the connection is great within the claimed range. I did not notice any drops or issues with the connection. Likewise, it has a dual connection feature. So, each bud can connect separately to your smartphone. Thus, you can use a single earbud at a time if you wish to do so.
Another good thing about the Sleek is its battery life. The case packs a 350mAh battery and each bud has a 35mAh battery. It manages to deliver 6+ hours of playback with a single charge on full volume and more than 24 hours with the case.
For a compact design, AstaWolf Sleek packs serious endurance.
For charging, it comes with a type-c cable in the box and it features quick charge that provides 60 mins of playback with 10 mins of charging. The buds take 60 mins to charge from 0 to 100%. Likewise, the case charges to 100% within 90 mins. But, there’s no way to know the battery level. This is quite common in budget earphones but it can be irritating sometimes.
So, this is my AstaWolf Sleek review. What do you think about this earbud? If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments!
