Realme 10 4G with Helio G99 Launched in Nepal

After Realme 10 Pro Plus, Realme has now launched the Realme 10 4G in Nepal.

The Realme 10 price in Nepal is Rs. 29,999 (8/128GB). The phone is available for purchase at retail stores across the country.

The Realme 10 was launched in India on 9th November 2022. It is the successor of the Realme 9 4G.

Realme 10 4G Overview

Design

Realme 10 has a similar design as the Realme 10 Pro Plus 5G but it has a flat-screen and flat frame. Realme calls it the Light Particle Design which uses individual camera rings and particle finish on the back panel.

It comes in two colors: Clash White and Rush Black.

The Realme 10 is pretty thin at 7.95mm thickness and it only weighs 178g. On the front, it has a hole punch in the top left corner. Likewise, the fingerprint sensor is embedded into the power button.

Display

The display remains similar to the Realme 9 with a 6.4 inches FHD Super AMOLED 90Hz panel. And, it is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5.

The screen has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Similarly, it boasts a peak brightness of 1000 nits, 98% NTSC coverage, and 16.7 Million colors.

Hardware

For processing, the Realme 10 uses MediaTek Helio G99 chipset along with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Helio G99 is a 6nm chipset with Octa-core (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

Helio G99 is an updated version of the Helio G95 chipset built using a more efficient 6nm process and boosted CPU clock speed. Else, it has similar features.

Camera

Realme has opted for a dual camera setup without an ultrawide angle sensor. It has a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP B&W sensor. This is a downgrade from Realme 9’s triple camera setup.

Instead of a 108MP Samsung HM6 main sensor, Realme 10 4G gets a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN1 1/2.76″ sensor with a Tetracell filter and 0.64µmm pixels. Likewise, the secondary monochrome sensor is a 2MP Omnivision OV02B1 sensor.

On the front, it gets a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q 1/3.06″ sensor with 1.0µm pixels and a Quad-Bayer filter.

Battery and OS

The Realme 10 has the same 5000mAh battery capacity as the Realme 9. It supports 33W fast wired charging that can charge the device to 100% in 76 minutes.

For OS, it comes with Android 12 out of the box along with Realme UI 3.0.

The Realme 10 4G was launched in late 2022 and is a successor to the Realme 9 4G. However, it only brings a meaningful upgrade in terms of processor. The ultrawide sensor has been removed and the battery capacity remains the same.
