Motorola has increased the price of the Moto e40 in Nepal. It is a budget phone from the company’s e-series that was announced in October 2021 and was launched in Nepal recently in May 2022.

After the price rise, the Motorola Moto e40 price in Nepal is Rs. 19,999 (4/64GB). The phone is available to buy at mobile retail stores across Nepal. Previously, it was Rs. 1,000 cheaper.

The company said that the reasons for the price increase are the recent increase in excise duty in Nepal from 2.5% to 5% and the declining value of the Nepali currency.

Design

The Motorola Moto e40 is made of plastic and has a curved texture on the back. The back has a Motorola logo-printed fingerprint sensor near a rectangular camera design.

There is a microphone, USB Type-C port, and a mono speaker on the bottom side of the phone. The 3.5mm headphone jack and the SIM + microSD card tray are on the top and left sides, respectively.

The right side houses a textured power button, volume buttons, and a dedicated button for Google voice assistant.

Display

The phone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. It’s a 90Hz refresh rate display.
