On the front, it has a hole punch on the top right corner and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is available in two colors: Forest Green, and Stellar Black.

OnePlus 9 Pro has a 6.7 inches LTPO Fluid 2 AMOLED panel with a screen resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels.

Also, the Fluid Display 2.0 has a 120Hz refresh rate support and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. OnePlus claims that this screen can automatically adjust between 1Hz and 120Hz based on contents.

It has an Octa-Core processor with 1 Cortex X1 core, 3 Cortex A78 cores, and 4 Cortex A55 cores. It is one of the first chipsets to employ the new Cortex X1 high-performance cores.

For better gaming, OnePlus has incorporated a new OnePlus Cool Play technology. It is a dedicated, multi-layered gaming-grade cooling system to keep the internals extra cool.

Camera

OnePlus has always lagged behind its competition in the camera department. To change the dynamics, OnePlus has partnered with Hasselblad to improve its camera system.

Talking about the camera, it has a main 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor. It is a large 1/1.4″ sensor with class-leading technologies like 2×2 OCL, 12-bit RAW, dual ISO, and DOL-HDR. This sensor is also able to provide 64 times more color information than its predecessors.

Then, there’s a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultrawide angle sensor with a freeform lens, an 8MP telephoto sensor with 3.3x optical zoom, and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

OnePlus 9 Pro is definitely a beast interms of performance and display smoothness. But, its camera prowess is still behind the best smartphones.
