Nubia recently launched Nubia V18 in Nepal and now they’ve dropped their prices on the Nubia Z17 Lite and Nubia Z17 miniS. The latest price of the Nubia Z17 Lite is Rs. 28,500 and Nubia Z17 miniS is Rs. 29,500.
Nubia Z17 Lite comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. So, there is no fancy18:9 aspect ratio here. But, it doesn’t mean that the device fails to look interesting. The near-lack of side bezels and the blue back with red accented camera rims make this device look modern and sharp.
On the inside, the Nubia Z17 Lite is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 (28 nm) processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded.
The Nubia Z17 miniS has similar specs but it comes in a slightly smaller form factor as it has a 5.2-inch display.
Both of these phones are quite old as they were released in 2017 internationally. The price drop seems good but if you compare it with phones like Mi A2 and Redmi Note 5, these phones feel pretty outdated and slightly overpriced. Also, they come with Snapdragon 653 processor which is a decent mid-ranger but its old as well.
The 6GB RAM inside these phones won’t mean much with that processor. These phones look pretty good from the outside but it is not so palatable because of its outdated processor. Phones like Mi A2 and Redmi Note 5 provide far more for the similar price. But, even with a price drop, the Nubia Z17 Lite and Nubia Z17 miniS do not look as attractive as some others in this price segment.
