BlackBerry to Arrive in Nepal Before Dashain With Key 2 and Key 2 LE

BlackBerry smartphones aren’t as popular as it used to be. It’ll be hard for BlackBerry to even make it to top 15 smartphone brands in the world. Nonetheless, Saakha group is bringing the BlackBerry phones in Nepal. BlackBerry Key 2 and Key 2 LE are supposed to be the first phones to be released. These phones will be available before Dashain but the official launch will take place after Dashain though.

BlackBerry Key 2 looks professional and well built and has a 4.5 inches 1080 x 1620 IPS LCD panel. The chipset looks pretty good with the Snapdragon 660 and the 6GB RAM is more than enough for anything. Keeping up the trend it does have a dual camera setup on the back; 12MP +  12MP. Well, it has everything that a modern smartphone should have and exceptionally it also has a physical keyboard.

BlackBerry Key 2 LE is a similar phone with a similar build but downgraded specs such as the Snapdragon 636 and 4GB RAM. The problem for BlackBerry is everyone has moved on to smartphones without a physical keyboard. It is more of an obstruction than a feature. Well, it is certainly not for everyone. Professionals that want to keep it classy and nostalgic might want to go for this smartphones

The era of the physical keyboard is gone and in the age of edge to edge display, the BlackBerry phones make no sense. Each and every content on the internet is made for full-screen display and the displays these have come very far from when BlackBerry was once popular. Well, people could argue that BlackBerry gives you extra security but I don’t think that it matters much and most people won’t even care. So, I’m not telling you to hate this phone but BlackBerry should really ditch their keyboard and go with the trend.
