Honor X6b Overview
Design
At a glance, the design of the Honor X6b hasn’t changed that much when compared to its predecessor. It comes with a flat plastic back panel and plastic side rails that give the phone a boxy appearance.
On the back, the camera modules and flash are positioned on a square-shaped island, while the HONOR logo badge is located at the bottom center of the device.

Display
Regarding the display of the Honor X6b, it has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera that, while somewhat dated, remains common in budget smartphones.
The 6.56-inch TFT LCD screen has a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and supports a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz. It has a peak brightness of 780 nits.
The asymmetrical display also comes with an always-on mode and Honor’s ‘Magic Capsule‘ feature.
Hardware
Under the hood, the phone houses a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. The CPU consists of 2x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 performance cores and 6x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, making it an octa-core processor. A Mali-G52 GPU handles all the graphics.
In terms of memory, Nepalese customers will be getting the 6GB RAM variant paired with 128GB storage. The phone supports external memory in the form of a microSD card.
Other hardware features of the phone include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an SGS-certified chassis that’s supposedly more impact and drop-resistant as per Honor’s claims.
Cameras
Honor has paired the X6b smartphone with a 50MP main camera that’s accompanied by a 2MP, f/2.4, depth sensor. There is a 5MP selfie camera as well.
Both the selfie and main cameras can record videos up to 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and OS
Honor ships the X6b with a 5200mAh Lithium-ion battery that supports 35W Honor SuperCharge. The battery charges through a USB-C port.
On the software side, the X6b smartphone comes with Android 14 with Honor’s Magic OS 8 skin applied on top.
